This is a short loop that can be enjoyed by the whole family without any real difficulties, except at the start of the Montferrier cemetery, where you climb up a pretty steep incline in the undergrowth.
Chestnut and beech trees, as well as green chain, can be found all along the bucolic route. The return journey takes us through the small hamlets of La Jaquette and Le Peychou, before reaching the hamlet of Couche and the pretty village of Montferrier, once known for its iron ore mining, hence its name Mons Ferreus or Iron Mountains.
