About
This pretty little walk, starting from the voie verte in Mirepoix, then follows a path through the woods and alongside a stream, taking you up a hill to see the ruins of the hamlet of Le Quié.
The ruins of Fort du Quié are now a locality, but no-one has lived there for at least 60 years. This highest point of the commune was once inhabited by farmers, and it is said that during the 14-18 war, the farmer, who had returned to Quié on leave, found his wife there with the housekeeper and killed them on the spot, before deserting.
